We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to play a key role at our Holmfield site. Itall adds up to providing a service that is Better, Faster, Cheaper than our competitors.The key responsibilities of our Operations Manager include:- Managing daily operation for the customer contracts ensuring accuracy and daily KPIs are achieved- Analysing daily performance indicators, encouraging awareness and driving performance improvements- Managing planning, production processes, equipment and resource in accordance with company expectations and values- Leading and supporting the management of people resources in the Operations team- Controlling stock and responding to warehouse queries- Developing, implementing, and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures for all processes- Leading, managing, developing and coaching the People Manager team- Maintaining high standards of quality, a safe working environment and compliance at all times- Managing absence and attrition to achieve daily labour rateWhat we need from you as our Operations Manager- Experience of leading teams in fast paced 3PL environment- Manage a warehouse, logistics and production environment, demonstrating knowledge and application of best practice techniques- Capability to work under pressure and make decisions in an evolving environment- High degree of accountability and excellent team management skills- Good knowledge of Health and Safety and safeguarding- Understanding and application of HR policies and processes- Knowledge of both closed book and open book operations- Manage performance and develop team- Motivator with high energy and enthusiasm- Customer focus, Drive for results in a team and ability to take ownership- Data and analytical skills- Excellent communicator and ability to manage key stakeholders- Team player who brings together people to deliver excellent results- Experience of Green belt, lean and six sigma is preferred- IOSH Managing Safely qualifiedWhat you will get in return as our Operations Manager:Access to a variety of our excellent benefits which include, bonus, 25 days holiday, pension scheme, online discounts, learning and development opportunities to fulfil your potential in the role and develop your career at Advanced.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in a growing business and make a difference.
