As an Apprentice you will gain valuable hands-on experience, with the opportunity to experience time across all areas, thus generating a real in-depthunderstanding of how a successful Technology function operates within Drive DeVilbiss.As part of their role the IT apprentice will work closely with their mentors and line manager in the Tech Support team who will create a positive and supportive working environment that will enable the Apprentice to put their academic learning into practice,whilst having the opportunity to add real-time value and contribute to each team.Primary duties include:

  • General service desk ticket support
  • Support the service desk engineers with project work
  • Deal with calls into service desk helpline
  • Assist In machine builds
  • Assist in general house keeping of IT Solutions
Desirable skills:

  • Analytical Mind
  • Attentive to detail and accurate whilst working with multiple IP addressing & configurations.

Entry requirements:You need to have 5 GCSEs:
  • Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D or above
  • 3x GCSEs grade A-C in any other subject
You must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same level, or higher level than this apprenticeship.If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
