Multi skilled carpenter - Ideally Carpentry / Plumbing / PlasterOur client are a national social housing organisation who require a Multi Skilled Carpenter to carry out repairs and maintenance works across their Peterborough & Cambridge.This will be on a contracting basis and rate is negotiable (CIS available) Van can also be provided.You will undertake Carpentry & Joinery related tasks, that will include 1st & 2nd fix works, as well as replacing existing glazing units & fitting new UPVC windows & doors, experience in lock smith works in gaining entry and changing multi point lockingsystems, and other trade repairs and maintenance work, you would ideally have some additional skills in Basic Plumbing, and other general trades, these repairs should be completed to a high standard, delivered, right first time, to deliver a cost effectivebuilding solution to the business and its customers.To be considered for this position it is essential that you have the ability to undertake associated trade tasks within competency, NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent and long term relevant trade experience.It is preferable for you to also have a valid Asbestos Awareness certificate, & a current accreditation/certificate and experience of fitting internal and external fire doors to Trada or Firas standards.You will conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, safe systems of work and recognised industrial standards for such work, minimizing damage to the fabric of the property.You will need a full UK manual driving licence.Over time availabletime and half until Midday Saturday and double time for Saturday from noon and all day SundayPlease email for further information
