Job Description

Pure are currently partnering with a technology company as they recruit a Group Financial Accountant to join their team based in Huntingdon, this role will be office based for 2 days and the remaining days from home.Reporting into the Head of Group Finance and working as part of a small team this role benefits from a broad range of duties and exposure to different disciplines, the key responsibilities sit in tax, intercompany, transfer pricing and treasury. Further detailsare as follows -- Preparation of the monthly VAT returns for the UK- At half year prepare deferred tax estimates and perform an estimate of UK corporate tax for external review and interim reporting- Coordination with the external tax consultants and advisors- Quarterly tracking of the R&D spend- Support with the overall preparation of the group IFRS financial statements- Monthly reconciliation of intercompany including resolving unreconciled amounts- Assisting with embedding the new Treasury policy throughout the groupIt is essential that you have an understanding of deferred tax and UK corporate tax, you will also need to be qualified or working towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA, full study support will be offered if needed.
