Job Description

Based in the UK, the Netherlands and Belgium, a company that operates a variety of businesses in the hospitality sector is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator in Harlington. Reporting into the Manager, you will be responsible for ensuringthe smooth workflow within the accounts payable process and to support the business operations by ensuring that the supplier invoices are processed, authorised and paid in a timely manner..As an Accounts Payable Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Review, code and post invoices (including Preparing and uploading invoices via MS Access and Excel)
  • Download invoices and statements from supplier portals
  • Send invoices for authorisation
  • Release authorised invoices for payment
  • Process and post cheque requests
  • Verify and process staff expenses
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Prepare accounts payable payment runs
  • Reconciliation of payments and supplier statements
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Assist in month end closing (e.g. prepayments)
  • Stock reconciliations
  • Accurate posting and cross charging of multi-site invoices
To be a successful Accounts Payable Administrator, you will have the following skills and experiences:
  • IT skills - Excel, email, accounting systems, transaction processing.
  • Experience in using SUN v6 is beneficial but is not essential.
  • Previous Purchase Ledger experience.
