Job Description

Quantity Surveyor - Flood ProtectionHampton Lovett, Worcestershire£40,000 - £45,000 + Car Allowance8:30am - 4:30pm Mon - FriInformation on the role

  • Produce tenders for new projects
  • Produce accurate take offs for projects
  • Produce and update of procurement schedules for all projects
  • Prepare the required documents to issue to subcontractors to enable them to tender effectively for works packages
  • Identify appropriate subcontractors for all aspects of works
  • Assist in the financial appraisal of new opportunities
  • Work closely with architects and other professionals
  • Navigate and understand building codes
  • Process paperwork and travel to building sites as required
  • Monitor construction processes
What we’d like from you
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying
  • Proven Quantity Surveying experience in the Flood Protection sector desirable
  • Quantity Surveying experience in Construction Projects; Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Industrial etc.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills
  • Self-motivated personality
  • Attention to detail with a right first-time attitude
  • Organisation and time management skills
