Job Description

Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for an expanding organisation in the Droitwich area who are seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join their successful team.Shift Patterns include, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm and 10am-6pm which will rotate throughout the week and 1 Saturday in every 4 weeks, 9am-14:00pm and the role is fully office based.Duties and tasks will include:

  • Answering inbound calls from existing customers
  • Ensure all customer records are kept up to date with the latest information regarding and customers account
  • Respond to customers emails effectively and efficiently
  • Liaise with other departments across the business
  • Regularly update customers with new information relating to their account
  • Communicate with customers via telephone, email and letter
  • Maintain customer files in line with Company policy
  • In the absence of the Customer Service Manager liaise with external agencies, I.E Trading standards, Alternative Dispute Resolution services and the Furniture & Home improvement ombudsman
  • Assist with administration duties
  • Monitor and record customer complaints
  • Action requests given by the Customer Service Manager
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary
