Job Description

Lead Manufacturing Engineer Permanent - Full time - LeicesterAs a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide technical leadership support to the Subsea pillar of the business. In this role you will be involved in key business value streams and will take ownership of the manufacturing engineering activities required,across the whole product lifecycle phases, to meet manufacturability, quality, schedule and cost goals.Ideal candidate:

HNC/HND qualified or equivalent experience in mechanical / manufacturing engineering discipline.
Experience in assembly techniques and good attention to detail of components and assemblies
Proven ability to solve complex technical problems
Have background in reviewing and approving engineering drawings of components and assemblies.

Your new responsibilities will include:

Taking full ownership of the production engineering planning, design, and execution for incoming large scale business programs
Working with a cross-functional team to ensure the needs of the customer base are met
Supporting a fast-paced manufacturing production line
Providing key input into product changes and modifications, to ensure they are designed for efficient manufacture and assembly.
Ability to lead, influence and motivate cross functional teams to achieve manufacturing excellence
