Exciting Full-Time Opportunity For a Customer Service, Finance and ISO Quality control assistantDue to company growth a vacancy has arisen at this successful and fast-growing SME technology business based in Groby, Leicestershire.Eccel Technology Ltd is a UK based company specializing in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) product design, development, manufacture, and sales.Eccel was established in 2005 and in recent years has grown from 2 employees in the UK only to 10 employees based in both the UK and Poland.The company has a worldwide customer base with a growing export business.The UK office is our head office, responsible for: sales, customer service, stock management, finance and marketing activities.Our Polish branch is where our team of design engineers are based and also houses a small manufacturing facility.Working for Eccel is varied and interesting as being a small company we all pull together as a team to make sure everything gets done. Some key tasks you would get involved with include:• Product purchases for both the fulfillment of customer orders and for the general supply requirements of the UK office.• Stock counting and adjustments to ensure accurate records and stock management. Identifying stocking requirements for customer orders and helping to address shortfalls and communication where necessary to customers, keeping them informed of lead times.• Preparing purchase order reconciliations for review by our Finance Director for both the UK and Polish office branches.• Supporting our Finance Director with inputs to our Sage 50 Accounting system ensuring a high level of precision and accuracy is maintained that requires minimal corrections following review.• Maintenance of documentation in relation to our ISO9001 Audit requirements.• Handling customer service through our shared Sales mailbox and ensuring all customer queries are addressed and the appropriate action is taken by members of the UK and where required Eccel engineering team in Poland in a timely manner.• Receiving deliveries and accurately accounting for these within Sage 50, labelling and sorting stock products appropriately.• Booking orders with couriers, packing and arranging for collection of these shipments in a timely and efficient manner.The successful applicant should:• Have good teamworking skills and also be able to work independently on finance and customer service tasks using their own initiative as required.• Hold a relevant finance qualification of at least AAT level 3 or equivalent and have at least 3 years of experience of working in a finance department or Accountancy firm.• Maintain a high focus on achieving quality and accuracy in both their financial inputs and also in their communication with customers and order management.• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.• Have previous experience of working with Sage 50 accounts.• Have experience of importing and exporting and completing the paperwork needed to receive goods from abroad and ship goods overseas.• Have experience of administering a quality management system or previous experience in internal Audit.• Have a warm personality and ambition to progress in a small but growing company.• Have dependable timekeeping and be able to receive shipments at both ends of the working day.• Have good communication skills with previous work in a customer relations and sales environment an advantage.• Be able to demonstrate experience of working in a small team with manufacturing or technology business background knowledge an advantage.The position is for 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:30 and is based solely at our UK office.The salary range for this position is £18K to £23K per annum, dependent upon experience and qualifications.There is a genuine opportunity for personal growth within the company.If you are interested in this opportunity, please email your CV to:Mr Darren Turner, Managing Director
