Job Description

JOB TITLE - Part Time Permanent Nursery PractitionerLOCATION - South East London - Forest Hill (SE23)SALARY - £10 to £11 per hour depending on experienceABOUT THE ORGANISATIONThis nursery holds a maximum of 22 children and registered in 2016. It is in Forest Hill in the London Borough of LewishamTHE ROLE & BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Supporting children in their play, planning for children and tracking development against the EYFS;
  • Split between working with the baby room and 2 years plus as a small nursery
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the room and fulfilling the personal care needs of the children; and
  • Work within the regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.
  • A commitment to working in partnership with parents
  • Experience of working with the EYFS and the ability to hit the ground running
  • A can-do and enthusiastic attitude
  • Experience of planning, observing and recording children’s achievements
  • Proven skills in positive behavior management
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORA level 3 qualified candidate in childcare or above. (Early years degree, QTS, PGCE, NNEB)Has experience working with the baby and toddler age groupHave strong EYFS knowledge and be able to implement in all activitiesHave strong verbal and writing communication skillsBENEFITS
