Job Description

JBD are proud to be working with a well established nursery based in Tunbridge Wells who are seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner with a passion to deliver exceptional childcare to join their friendly and fun team.Full time Nursery Nurse (at least NVQ Level 3) positions are available with a July start for the right candidate. Previous experience working with children aged between 0 to 5 years and being able to observe and track children’s progress is essential.If you are an experienced, happy and enthusastic Nursery practitioner who is eager to join a team and make a difference each day this is the place for you. There will be opportunities for career progression within the nursery for candidates who are commited and hard-working. The nursery are offering ongoing training to develop their team and ensure excellent standards of childcare are being met.The position will be 40 Hours per week.The candidate must:

  • Have a Level 3 Early Years Childcare Qualification
  • Have a valid First Aid certificate
  • be articulate & have an in depth understanding of the EYFS.
  • have observation, planning and assessment skills that ensure the quality of learning is consistent.
  • be enthusiastic and confident in their ability to engage children and extend their learning through play, enabling their emotional, social and educational development.
  • have an awareness and growing understanding of Ofsted requirements
  • have a sound work history and be able to manage your own work load
  • Requirements
  • Nursery Practitioners will be reqired to go through an Enhanced Childcare DBS
  • Evidence of Childcare qualification
  • A valid form of photo ID (such as a passport).
  • Proof of right to work in the UK (if applicable).
