Job Description

The CompanyHybrid/flexible working options available.Established and growing organisation based just outside of Newcastle are the offering the opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join their team. On offer is hybrid working, attractive benefits package and the opportunity to be part of a dynamicteam.The RoleAs Senior Management Accountant, duties will include:

  • Overall Owner for the P&L (to GP Level) and associated Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Produce monthly / weekly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries
  • Analyse financial information to provide value added commentary to assist business profitability and growth
  • Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, owning, monitoring and addressing reconciling items, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Managing the year end process including liaising with auditors and responding to audit queries in a timely manner
  • Provide regular and adhoc management reporting and analysis for decision making
  • Contribute to the budget and planning process
The PersonThe requirements for Senior Management Accountant vacancy are:
  • Newly/Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Experience of multi-site or larger Business
  • Experience of supporting operational teams
  • Strong analytical skills
  • An eye for process and system improvement
