Job Description

About the role:We are currently recruiting 3 Operational Transformation Coordinators on a 6-month fixed term contract to support and work closely with the Operational Change Manager (OCM) in the delivery of stock cleanse and new range roll out as part of the turnaround programme whilst driving engagement within the local branch teams.This is a national role which involves regular travel and overnight stays (expenses will be covered)Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Operational Change Manager (OCM) as required in the delivery of transformed branches.
  • Co-ordinate cleanse activity at branch in conjunction with the Branch Managers.
  • Take a lead in picking & packing of Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) as required
  • Confirm cleanse pallet count to inventory / supply chain colleagues to ensure collections are made on time and in full.
  • Assist the branch teams in locating the stock in the most appropriate places to create safe and efficient storage.
  • Support the OCMs in ensuring branch teams understand the benefits of new range & maximise opportunities.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times
  • Ensures branch colleagues understand the purpose and value of the operational changes
  • Support the OCM driving Engagement with the local operations team to ensure maximum benefit is received through local events and colleague engagement sessions
  • Identification of potential risks for resistance and highlighting these the OCM immediately.
  • About you:
  • Excellent people development and management skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Warehouse, merchant or retail experience would be advantageous
  • Driving license essential
