Job Description

Field Engineer - Contract - UK wide - £competitiveSynergize Consulting are now hiring for a Field Engineer to work within a large programme for a leading client, on a contract basis.The role will involve providing a high level of expertise in rollouts, deployments, on-site support, testing and decommissioning with regards to complex equipment and systems.Day to day duties will also include working alongside delivery managers to update on site progress, keeping comprehensive records of site progress, and taking responsibility for site assets.The role will be based across the UK so will require flexibility as to travel arrangements.Experience required:- A background in field-based support would be preferred, with strong skills in installations, rollouts and implementations- Cabling skills (CAT5/6)- IT knowledge that includes peripherals and servers- Knowledge of testing procedures and processes- Knowledge and skills in electrical engineering- Good abilities with documenting and recording activity- Flexibility as to travel and working patterns- Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC).If you are looking to take the next exciting step in your IT career, please send in your CV for immediate consideration.
