Job Description

These apply equally to our own manufacturing processes as to the impact our products will have in their end use. We consider the entire product lifecycle.The contract is a 6-month FTC.About the Activities

  • Liaise with vendors, hauliers and freight forwarders to ensure correct import, export customs documents are prepared, submitted and recorded. CMR documentation control.
  • Manage and maintain stock control flows - key raw materials & finished products using SAP MRP modules.
  • Analyse & reporting raw material and finished product. Updating SAP master data updates.
  • Other duties, required by Supply Chain Manager or Supply Chain Services Manager, in line with operational requirements. Provide cover for Supply Chain Services department during absences.
  • About the Context and EnvironmentThis role is based at the Ferrybridge blending plant. There may be requirements for the jobholder to visit third party warehouses, suppliers or the oil blending plant. The job holder will provide cover for the Supply Chain Services Department.About the AccountabilitiesThe role demands control and accountability for all stock procurement. SAP and IT skills will be used extensively. Attention to detail is paramount and effective communication, written and orally is essential.About the Candidate
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of Logistics and Procurement processes is essential.
  • Experienced in preparing customs documentation for imports and exports
  • Knowledge of multi drop transport planning.
  • MRP stock planning (SAP)
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, flexible and highly organised.
  • High level of attention to detail, accurate analytical skills.
  • Strong degree of PC literacy, especially MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills required. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of business.
  • Predominantly Monday to Friday, however, must be willing to work extra hours where necessary.
