Job Description

  • Job title:7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver
  • About our Client : Our Clientis the UKs largest retailer of solid hardwood furniture. With a Head Office in Wiltshire and showrooms throughout the UK. All stock is processed within our 500,000 sq. ft. Distribution Centre and delivered totheir customers, free of charge, using our own delivery fleet. With over twenty years experience in the UK furniture industry,they are specialists and have grown to delivering more than 2000 orders a day.They sell large volumes of high quality oak, mango and mahogany furniture at massively reduced prices - direct to the public and commercial hospitality customers. The company has featured in the Sunday Times Fast Track list of rapidly growing businesses in 4 of the last 5 years and offers a dynamic and exciting environment to work in.
  • Salary:£10.02 per hour
  • Hours:Monday – Friday 6am start until route is finished
  • Employment Type: Temporary contract
  • Location:Ferrybridge Leeds
    • Key responsibilities & duties:Tasks will include but not be restricted to:
  • 7.5 Tonne driver experience essential
  • Between 10 – 30 drops per day.
  • Heavy Lifting delivering solid oak furniture to room
  • Using e pod system
    • Minimum qualifications, experience and Academic qualifications:
  • 7.5 Tonne driving license essential
  • CPC card essential
  • Digital Taco card essential
    • The successful applicant:
  • Must me 18 or over.
  • 7.5 Tonne driver experience essential
  • Must have multi drop experience
  • Must have a CPC card
  • Must have a digital taco card
  • Happy with manual work.
