Job Description

The Opportunity:This E-Commerce Designer / Web Designers role will play an important role within the Marketing team of this global distributor of engineering parts. The role will require you to work on in excess of 10 sites,Job Responsibilities:The eCommerce Designer role includes but is not limited to:

Developing intuitive UX/UI designs that cater for all B2B and D2C customer groups, showing a clear understanding of WCAG 2 standards.
Build engaging, SEO-optimised landing pages, driving business KPIs through visual communication and bespoke user experiences
Performing regular site reviews of functionality and user behaviours, identifying new opportunities forthe company to optimise digital experiences
Taking ownership of the core comapny website theme, ensuring all key page redesigns (including checkout) are wireframed, prototyped and built conforming to brand style guidelines
Creating on-site and off-site digital media concepts and artwork, working closely with the digital marketing calendar.

Skills:

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment juggling multiple projects and deadlines
A passion for UX/UI design and always striving to learn
A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role (in-house or agency based)
1-2 years’ experience in a design-based role where web and digital are central elements
Confident user of Adobe suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD (or similar)
Confident user in UI prototyping tools: Figma, InVision & Sketch (or similar)
HTML / CSS Knowledge
