Job Description

About the roleA new opportunity has become available for a Payroll Administrator to join our busy Payroll department,based in Eccles in Manchester.Joining an environment that is both dynamic and time critical, you will be responsible for supporting the payroll team with payroll and administration duties.This will include the provision of management information to the business through running reportsfrom our payroll database (SAP) into Excel, ensuring they are accurate and accessible to our internal customers.Role Responsibility

  • Providingassistance to the Payroll Team with payroll and administration tasks.
  • Producingexisting reports, ensuring they are accurate and amending if required.
  • Maintaining and developing reports to ensure they remain fit for purpose and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Responding to and resolvingcustomer queries or escalating as necessary.
  • Ensuring GDPR compliance of Payroll data both internally and externally.
  • Ensuring the correct processesare consistently followed.
  • Reviewing, updating and implementingprocesses within the department.
  • Ensuring GDPR Compliance of Payroll data both internally and externally.
  • Reviewing and aligning with company policies and procedures.
  • Delivering an efficientservice across the whole of the Booker group.
You will need
  • To work proactively and as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Payroll experience (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of SAP (Desirable)
  • A good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience of working in a medium/large business.
  • Great Customer Service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • The ability to investigate and resolve queries.
  • The desire and ability to expand your knowledge of Excel and SAP.
  • Ability to work under pressure when required.
