Job Description

Reporting to the Head of HR - Lending, the Senior HRBP will work closely with the Group COO to develop people solutions that will help drive business objectives, whilst enabling employees to flourish. The role holder will build robust relationships with key business stakeholders, providing strategic HR advice and practical guidance across multiple client groups, whilst ensuring all HR activities are fully aligned to the overall HR people plan. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partnering in the delivery of people activities including talent & succession planning, compensation process, engagement programmes and operating model changes.
  • Strategically partnering with the management teams to improve diversity and inclusion through developing and sharing a clear view on diversity and inclusion within the business area, facilitating regular full rounded discussions with management teams onD&I, and ensuring all demographic characteristics are being considered and discussed.
  • Directing the Group COO business partnering team to deliver an excellent HR service to the functional teams including Technology, Central Change, Security and Resilience, Third Party Management and Workplace Services
  • Partnering with the Group COO and senior stakeholders on organisational design and changing operating models including identify people risks and issues arising from the proposed change activities.
  • Identify training and development needs to assist employees in aligning to future skills required by the bank.
  • Working closely with the businesses to recognise their resourcing needs. Providing oversight to the TABPs to ensure delivery of an efficient, cost effective, creative talent acquisition strategy to attract diverse candidates, ensuring an integrated onboardingprocess with the Group COO HR Business Partner team.
  • Contributing to the development of the Groups Employer Brand
  • Encouraging an inclusive culture through tone from the top and role modelling the company values and expected behaviours.
  • Developing a high performing team through the recruitment, selection, development, reward, and succession planning within the Group COO HR Business Partner
Developing Our People: as a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal developmentand provide support through regular feedback. WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF HAVE:
  • Ability to effectively partner senior stakeholders across the business with a confident and credible approach; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Evidence of managing high performing teams, able to lead, coach and engage a team of recruitment and HR professionals
  • Keen interest in diversity and inclusion with experience in designing practical initiatives to improve diversity, whilst maintaining an inclusion culture
  • Proven ability to use data insight in decision making, identify themes and the bigger picture
