This engineering business are looking for a talented, new business hunter to join their growing team.Scope:This is a Sales role split between Field Based and Office Based. The Medium Term Plan places a clear emphasis on the development of the business in order to develop significant direct RTM sales growth on all of our safety solution products. The responsibility for personal sales forecasting and target execution are key aspects of this role.You will be required to respond to in coming enquiries as well as generating your own sales enquiries by means of targeting strategically relevant industrial sectors as well as adopting the proven GDM technique to target potential new, existing and dormant customers. In order to achieve this it is vital that you spend at least 2/3 days per week on the road.We expect you to become a key player within the business and work closely with the General Manager, making a direct contribution to our strategic development in terms of business development.Your Role will focus on 4 key areas:1. Delivery of a personal sales target2. Generation of Safety Solutions business3. Building repeat customer relationships4. Become a market expert in Ground Based Safety Solutions.Your Key Responsibilities will include:• The delivery of Personal monthly Sales target.• Submission of daily / weekly report sheet.• An active ownership of key accounts and contracts across the business with a focus on new business generation.• Generate enquiries from sales calls and fully utilising lead generation systems• Produce quotations from customers enquiries based on relevant design standards• Produce sketches to show clients your solutions• Follow up your quotations and record feedback on the project tracking data base• Attend monthly review meeting to analyze results and feedback to improve future performance and conversion rates etc.• Keep up to date with all relevant design standards & design manuals• Attend site if required to survey for quotations• The development of major new accounts, major contractors, installers and end users.• All other tasks within the Sales Development area as requested by the General Manager.Please apply within, for successful candidates to be contacted with more information.
