Job Description

IntroductionWe are currently recruiting for a New Business Bid Manager to join an award winning IT Managed Services Provider. This highly successful business has continued to grow year on year, almost doubling in headcount in the last two years. The role sits within abusy team with planned growth covering various UK regions. This role will focus on Bid and Tender management within the North East and North Yorkshire, and you will work as part of a busy and growing sales team. As a key role within the business, you willbe responsible for working alongside internal stakeholders to co-ordinate and ensure Bids are completed, submitted and delivered to in accordance with SLAs.We are looking to identifycandidates with bid writing experience and technical background who would consider moving into a commercial setting, where your knowledge will enable you to produce winning bids.The RoleResponsibilities:

  • Identify and source new business opportunities from relevant frameworks- PPQs, RFP ,ITTs
  • Manage and maintain relationships with clients
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to bids and tenders
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Identify internal stakeholders and co-ordinate the completion of Bids within the given timescale
  • Manage the full tender cycle from responding to initial enquiry to final presentation and onboarding
  • Completing administrative work as required
The Candidate
  • Experienced in Bid/tender writing
  • Broad understanding and knowledge of Infrastructure and Networking Technologies, Microsoft Partner and Managed Service Provider prefered
  • The ability to prioritise and manage your time efficiently
  • Excellent communication and written skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external)
  • Determined, enthusiastic, reliable and sociable
  • Self motivated, achievement orientated, ability to use own initiative
