Whats in it for you Youll be joining an award-winning business and will play a vital role in leading the finance team.You will have access to private medical, and group life assurance.You will also benefit from a car and fuel allowance, as well as the option of a Cycle to Work scheme if preferred.You will be office based, working in a positive and friendly environment, and you will work a shorter day on a Friday, to start the weekend early.Theres also some flexibility to work from home every so often, to fit in with your commitments.Additionally, you will receive a generous employer pension contribution.What will you be doing Reporting to the Finance and IT Director, you will be providing overall leadership to the finance team as well as heading the development and training.You will be improving systems, controls and processes and leading on change management.Youll deliver accurate Management accounts and provide robust information to the business to assist decision-making.Leading the annual Financial Audit process will also play a vital part in your role, preparing statutory accounts and overseeing the annual Fixed Asset audit.Additionally, you will prepare Annual budgets and conduct monthly P&L and balance sheet reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance, as well as maintaining departmental operating procedures.About youYou will be a qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA), with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.You have experience in auditing.You will have demonstrable experience in a similar Management role and be a highly effective communicator, who is able to lead and develop a team.You are experienced with Microsoft Office and are focused on delivering results.You possibly have some knowledge of ERP and MRP systems and standard costing calculations, although this is not essential.If youre ready to take the next step, click apply now or contact Robyn at Paul Card Recruitment for a confidential chat to find out more.And dont worry if your CV isnt quite up to date, we can help with that too.All applications will receive a response.
