Job Description

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity available for a CNC Machinist with experience in milling and turning in Eaglescliffe, Teesside on a permanent basis.Rate of pay: Up to £33,300 per annum, depending on experienceSchedule: 39 hours per weekOur client provides their workers with a range of benefits:

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to a good level of quality that will meet our clients standards. You will also be responsible for:
  • Producing according to drawings and specifications
  • High speed CNC vertical milling
  • Operating 2 axis up to 5 axis CNC lathes
  • Looking for areas of improvement and opportunities to reduce waste
  • Following all safety procedures and policies
The ideal CNC Machinist will have the following knowledge, skills, and competencies:
  • Programming and setting skills in FANUC or HURCO control (essential)
  • Experience in a graphite environment (beneficial, but not essential as training provided)
  • Educated to GCSE level or higher (Grade 4/C or above) in English and Mathematics, or hold equivalent qualifications (essential)
