Job Description

On behalf of our industry leading plastic injection moulding customer, Procure Recruitment Group are recruiting for Maintenance technician to join this thriving business on a permanent basis.As part of the maintenance team you will provide maintenance support to the business including repairs to machinery, plant, building and other areas with directions from Maintenance Supervisor.Main Duties:

  • To ensure the repair and appropriate maintenance of manufacturing machinery and ensure it is carried out within reasonable time-scales which will minimise disruption to the efficiencies of the manufacturing targets
  • Fault finding and diagnostic experience regarding the electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and assessing root cause failure mode
  • To carry out preventative maintenance of manufacturing machinery to ensure that Company production requirements are met
  • To ensure all duties are carried out within the scope of the Health and Safety at Work Act and also Company rules and procedures
  • Remain up to date with Electrical Regulations qualifications BS EN 7671
  • To carry out any other relevant duties as required by the business.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Essential
  • Electrical apprenticeship and relevant mechanical engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Good fault finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility due to shift work. Desirable
  • Time served within a high volume environment.
  • Knowledge of injection moulding machines
  • Knowledge of PLC & 6 Axis robot systems
