We are looking for an experienced Contracts or Tender/Proposals professional to complete a 12 month-fixed term contract at our growing Energy Services Company based in the North of Aberdeen.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Leads detailed quantitative and qualitative contract evaluation, direct contractual and commercial negotiation in accordance with contracting principles.• Liaises with key internal stakeholders to evaluate tenders, obtain contract award approvals and contract execution.• Develops and presents detailed recommendations to head of department.• Responsible for contract risk mitigation and commercial optimisation ensuring best value for our group.• Provision of post-award administration support including contract amendment and variation administration reporting.• Responsible for key supplier performance and relationship management including KPI’s.• Ensures that the Supply Chain department Procurement Plan is kept up to date on a bi-weekly basis as a minimum or more regularly as may be required.• Assists Contracts Lead and Head of Legal with project work as required.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSEssentialEducated to Degree level, preferably in a Business / Commercial / Supply Chainrelated discipline.PreferredWorking towards Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) accreditationEXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLSEssential• Considerable experience gained in an oil and gas/energy contracts administration role, performing comparable duties in an operator/supply company setting.• Strong experience in contract and commercial negotiations.• Proven ability to deal with many key suppliers, build relationships and communicate effectively.• Ability to develop relationships with key internal stakeholders in wells department.• Considerable experience of Microsoft office packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.BENEFITS• Location Aberdeen, Dyce• 12-month contract• £45k - £50k with 10% bonus linked to specific deliverables• Hybrid – 2 days from home• Hours 40 – some flexibility on start/finish• Meals provided
