Ultimately, they want to make the energyindustry safer, smarter and more efficient through better training.Main duties of the postThe Business Development Manager - Onboard & International role is responsible for themanagement and development of my clients onboard and international client base and relatedoperations; centered around the promotion and delivery of training, competence and otherlearning and development solutions via the company.The role has a strong emphasis on new and existing business development; targeting growth fromtheir current client base and the identification of new opportunities, predominantly focused ondomestic and global oil and gas producing regions.The candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of the oil and gas sector, ideally within atraining, competence and/or health and safety role. Knowledge of international training standardsand the offshore drilling sector as whole is desirable.You will work within a UK-based team (role is Aberdeen-based with some of the sales team basedin Newcastle) as well as regular collaboration with other businesses withing the group, locatedglobally. Domestic and international travel will form part of the role where required.Responsibilities Development & Management of new business leads and existing client base undertaken via: Ownership of onboard sales budget Management of existing onboard and international client base Identifications of new business opportunities Identification and development of new target regions Development of project-based solutions to support client training and competence Promotion of technology-backed solutions via Group companies Cross sell opportunities across the Group Coordination of course booking for instructor mobilisations Close relationship with operations, logistics and planning teamsKey Performance Indicators Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets New opportunity creation Instructor days sold per month Management of sales>billing process Upkeep of CRM and other related systems to support Onboard and International divisionOther Requirements Confident negotiator with strong closing skills Strong client / account management skills Strong communication skills Excellent organisational and time management skills A positive attitude to dealing with people Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual, as well as beingable to integrate and operate as part of a team
