Job Description

Postal Delivery Driver needed in Dursley, paying a short term peak rate of £16.58ph Monday to Saturday and £17.19ph for Sundays (peak rates will reduce back down to £13.37ph Monday to Saturday and £14.49ph Sundays), this is a temporary but ongoing role,with immediate starts, working 5 to 6 shifts Monday to Sunday working 12:00 to 19:00, must be available Saturdays, free on-site parking, paid breaks.Working for one of the best-loved brands. Every day, bringing letters and parcels to people around the country, something that communities across the UK rely on. They are 150,00 strong with 500 years of history and are hugely proud of the service they provide.Youll start your day for an hour or so in the local delivery office, sorting the mail for your route, before taking out your van to complete your round. Youll each be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and theround will take around four hours to complete. The hand-held computer will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route, telling you which house to go to next.Upbeat and self-motivated, youll be as happy working alone as you will be working as part of a team and getting to know the different people on your round.
