Job Description

Our client, market leaders in road safety and security solutions, are seeking an Operations Team Coordinator to join them on a permanent basis at their facility in the Maidstone area.The successful candidate will work closely with the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager in; maintaining Business Management Systems, managing HSEQ records, coordinating training and providing fleet management training.Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining Business Management Systems and communicating changes.
  • Managing the company document registry.
  • Raising, recording and tracking incidents in line with HSEQ compliance requirements.
  • Supporting HSEQ internal audit and inspection activities.
  • Providing administrative support to the training centre; booking training, tracking training status and issuing certificates as needed.
  • Providing support to the Transport Manager for fleet administration.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, tenacious and have a proven ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced changing environment.You will be able to demonstrate a professional and organised approach, remaining calm when working under pressure, be able to effectively prioritise your own workload, meet deadlines and have an excellent eye for detail.You will also:
  • Be IOSH, Managing Safely Certified as a minimum, NEBOSH General certificate would be advantageous.
  • Have previous exposure to internal auditing to ISO standards.
  • Possess the ability to engage and communicate effectively at all levels, be approachable and able to work with both employees and management in a supportive and collaborative manner.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages. Previous use of Visio or Draw for process mapping and SharePoint for document storage/management would be distinct advantage.
