Job Description

* Flexible part-time hours* £40k - £45k FTERadar Recruitment are exclusively supporting a successful and well-run, owner-managed company near Maidstone in their search for a Finance Manager. Established nearly 3 years ago and already turning over £2million + the company is now at an intriguing pointin its growth journey, where it is actively aiming to bring all finance and accounts in house. A rare opportunity to find a part-time role at this salary banding, with the level of autonomy and the flexibility to work hours suitable to an individuals requirements- the owner wishes to have a greater level of control over the company finances, ultimately aiming to influence strategy and spending through generation of accurate management information.Responsibilities:* Purchase and sales ledger maintenance - invoice processing and payment runs* Credit control and aged debtor reports* VAT calculations and submissions to HMRC* Bank reconciliations* Account reconciliations* End-to-end payroll for circa 22 members of staff* Generation of management accounts, to include: cashflow forecasting, budgets, profit and loss* Yearend accounts to submit to external Practice for audit* Advise leadership and commercial on effective costings and profit margins to maximise revenue* Support business strategy with effective financial planning in relation to capital expenditure and investmentsProfile:* Significant experience in one of the following roles: Finance Manager, Bookkeeper, Accountant, Accounts Manager, Management Accountant* Exposure to Quickbooks and/or Sage will be vital* Prior experience in an SME or owner-managed business* Must be flexible in approach, happy to work as part of a close-knit team* Be willing and confident enough to lead on information delivery, yet challenge leadership on decisions impacting company finances* Medium to advanced Excel skillsOn Offer:* Part time hours - approximately 24 hours per week, happy to offer 3 full days or reduced hours over 4 days, could be a combination of both to suit personal circumstances.* Salary £40k - £45k FTE
