Job Description

Web Manager - Crewe - £40kMy successful Global client is looking for experienced Web Manager to join their IT UX Marketing Team

  • 4 years commercial experience of managing websites
  • Extensive knowledge of managing content in WordPress CMS
  • Setting up and using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar (or similar)
  • Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and web performance
  • Responsible for data capture security, Cookie Policies, GDPR etc
  • Managing project delivery and deadlines with the internal design team and external agencies
  • Skilled in troubleshooting the website and constantly working with UX team and product owners to improve the User Experience (UX) of the website
  • Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Experience of working with multiple websites and multiple projects
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic skills in HTML, CSS, cross-browser compatibility
  • Typical responsibility of the role: -
  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade the group websites
  • Handle delivery of multi-country web requirements
  • Liaising with multi-country requests and prioritising deliverables in line with business requirements.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues
  • Ensure that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures
  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information
  • Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plan.
  • Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organisation’s standards
  • Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and cookie regulation
  • Keep up to date with industry best practice.
  • Commutable from Nantwich, Crewe and surrounding areas, Stoke-on-Trent, Chester and South Cheshire Required skills
