Job Description

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join their company in Crewe on permanent full-time role.This role is within the sales department of the company, it is about interacting with the customer and ensuring that their sales journey is seamless and positive through the whole process.The role will be predominantly based at the Head Office in Crewe, however there may be times where visits to customer sites may be necessary.Duties:

  • Quote management; timely and accurate generation of quotations including follow-up
  • On-going customer communication
  • Order handling and processing
  • Order acknowledgements
  • Dispatch documents
  • Provide high quality service
  • Interaction with other departments
  • Efficient handling of enquiries
  • Pre and post order communication
  • Ensuring all customer enquiries are responded to within 24 hours
  • Maintenance of all databases to ensure that all records are up-to-date
  • Develop a good working knowledge of Company products and services in order to provide detailed guidance to our customers
  • Proactively deal with comments and complaints from customers as they arise
  • Generation of sales reports, MIS report, in line with Sales KPIs and management requirements
Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to adapt to change and a willingness to learn
  • Strong IT skills
  • Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Must be efficient and have excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a busy role with large amounts of administration activities
  • Product and application knowledge
Hours of work & Benefits:Monday - Friday - 37 hours with flexible start/finish timeOffice-based25 days of holidaysSalary: £22000.00 per annum
