Job Description

More About The Trunking Labour Co-ordinator Role: As our Trunking Labour Co-ordinator, you will be a vital member of the team that ensures our trunking operations runs smoothly and that each one of our customers receives their appliance on time, every time. You will support our TransportManager in coordinating and organising the daily operation plan on site and ensure that we maintain efficiency in everything we do. Always striving for improvement in a high-performance culture you will keep your team motivated and engaged.Heres What You Can Expect To Be Doing As Our Trunking Labour Co-ordinator:

  • Responsible for checking prepopulated trunk vs; home delivery teams plan.
  • Update trunk plan with return/scrap movement from outbases.
  • Monito Backhaul inbox and update plan with collections and additions.
  • Update labour providers of requirement, any movement, and updates.
  • Populate 7 days pre plan with resource.
  • Update training records, for any new starter and ensure records are auditable and up to date.
  • Update employed transfer driver/shunter rota with holidays, overtime etc
  • Create morning update, including plan Vs actual (no shows, re-allocating routes and standby)
  • Update weekly forecast with relevant spends.

You must be smart enough to think on your feet and have a passion to drive our performance paying careful attentionto the service that we deliver for our customers. You will be enthusiastic and driven towards achieving high standards of quality and be bold enough to make key decisions quickly and trust your judgement.EXPERIENCE
  • An understanding of Transport, Logistics, Distribution or Warehousing
  • Knowledge of Transport legislation and compliance to ensure that all our vehicles are legally compliant.
  • Experience in general administration and planning
SKILLS
  • Able to remain calm and focussed under pressure when working to deadlines
  • Able to solve problems independently and with confidence
  • Able to communicate effectively especially by email and phone
TECHNICAL
  • PC literate including warehouse software and Microsoft Packages
  • Can use Excel to intermediate or advanced level
  • Strong communicator
