Testing & Training Lead / 23-month fixed term contract / Hybrid (North-West) / Band 7 (to £47,500)East Cheshire NHS Trust and Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are jointly creating a new electronic patient record (EPR), which is known locally as the Digital Clinical System (DCS).We have been chosen as the exclusive resourcing partner for this exciting EPR programme. Kicking off this year, they will be moving onto MediTechs Expanse cloud based EPR. The plan is to develop, build, and test the system ahead of a planned launch in 2024.This state-of-the-art system will allow frontline clinicians to record and view information on a range of devices, giving staff access to data at their fingertips. Patients at the NHS Trusts will benefit from an improved patient experience, and the systemwill help support safer care too.An enthusiastic and experienced programme team is already place but there are a number of key positions that need to be filled, including this Testing & Training Lead positionThe role will lead the development of the EPR testing and training strategies to deliver a safe and proven solution. You will own all testing activities, including all documentation such as test plans, schedules, test strategy, test scripts, data preparation. You will provide effective leadership and direction to the Testing and Training Team, ensuring key processes are defined and in place and will ensure the team members work to maximum effectiveness.I am therefore looking to speak to candidates with previous experience in a NHS EPR testing and training management role, someone who has been through a previous EPR deployment (ideally MediTech) or at least, a large clinical system implementation. A relevantqualification in testing and training, e.g. ISTQB, QTLS, etc would be very desirable. This is a brilliant opportunity for the right person, apply now for immediate consideration.
