Job Description

I am recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant to complete a 6-9 month complex AR Invoicing project. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful fast paced business during a period of transformation and systems implementation.Job Description

  • Process customer invoices, coordinate contract activities related to pricing and invoicing, develop market-based pricing and ensure customer pricing agrees to the contracted terms
  • Work with account management, transport and finance personnel to resolve billing issues and provide account and activity analyses on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Process automated and manual invoices using Oracle Financials
  • File documents in accordance with prescribed policies
  • Assure operational compliance with business policies, procedures, and regulations
  • In brief the role requires:
  • Some experience in processing invoices
  • Working knowledge of Oracle accounting systems
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Accounting procedures
  • Superior Business Administration Skills, including use of Microsoft Office
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate able to work on own initiative and to work as part of a team
  • Some experience in data entry, with excellent numerical skills and good attention to detail
  • Initially, the role will be working from home, but when safe to do so the successful candidate will be required to work partially from the offices in Crewe. Required skills
