Job Description

Software Test Analyst - CreweExcellent opportunity for a software test analyst to join a growing insurance services organisation on the outskirts of Crewe. This hire is due to the expansion of the test team, which currently has 4 members.Role ObjectiveProvide robust testing of software both developed in house and purchased by the organisation. Aid the support function by providing root cause analysis of issues raised. Ensure that development, testing and change management activities are compliant with the organisations BSI accreditations.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned testing activities to deliver the most appropriate resourcing for business projects and tasks.
  • Provide internal consultancy and guidance to the organisation to improve the quality of the project workflows and the software deliverables.
  • Provide input into software issues and provide root cause analysis to improve timelines and quality of remedial work.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with members of the business to facilitate proactive support of both current and future projects.
  • Ensure all work and conduct is in accordance with the firms Standard Operating Procedures, Compliance Manuals and any other official publications issued by the organisation.
  • Support and help colleagues/other departments as necessary.
  • Other reasonable tasks and duties as required ensuring the smooth running of the IT environment.
  • Ensure all testing activities meet the organisations BSI ISO accreditations.
