Position: Site Engineer- Area 10 Reporting to:Site Manager Roles and responsibilities/Skills -Setting out of site with repairs and CP levels- Understanding of Site engineering and proven ability on civil engineering schemes in the past - Taking of site measurements and collating these- Undertaking the key function of QA on site to monitor the sequencing, phasing and methodology to ensure all works are carried out per the specification and our contractual obligations- An understanding of AutoCAD would be preferable as regular updates from the site records to produce as-built drawings is required- An understanding of Microsoft project/excel and Primavera P6 would be required to support existing projects- Experience of carrying out testing such as Hammer and general surveys- Providing information and evidence to operations team on works progress and feedback on any items that require attention- Providing support to commercial team with accurate, detailed and summarized site records - Supporting early warn in g and compensation events- Keeping an accurate log on daily site activities- Ensuring that the site is regularly checked to ensure any changes or scope are clearly identified- Ensuring that CRLs role as PC is safeguarded by providing expertise in engineering to support temporary works and other key items- Understanding and training in H&S- CSCS card Qualifications Degree in civil engineering or other relevant construction/engineering subject Or HNC/HND in civil engineering IT Skills essential to ensure all records and drawings are monitored and updated
