Shift Maintenance EngineerCrewe£39,000Working on a shift pattern of - 6-2/2-10 Monday - FridayWorking for one of Staffordshires most desirable FMCG companies, a Shift Maintenance Engineer is needed to ensure all engineering and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and timely. Working in line with the quality and engineering practices, the ShiftEngineer will work in a dynamic and developing maintenance team.With future growth and development potential, the Shift Engineer will work in a small team of 4 engineers across two shifts - 6-2 and 2-10. Going from strength to strength, this company boast multi-site operations both UK based and overseas.The RoleThe Shift Maintenance Engineer will support with all planned and reactive preventative maintenance activities across all machinery and equipment for the business.* Work in line with the schedule plan, ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose.* Update PPM schedules and ensure paperwork is completed and signed off.* Support all training and monitoring of TM activities.* Attend breakdowns promptly to ensure minimal production downtime.* Adhere to all health & safety legislation.RequirementsAn experienced Shift Manager is required with an understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering but a bias towards electrical.As a multi-skilled engineer, you will have relevant education within engineering - either ONC, degree or similar.* Experience of working within manufacturing- ideally within the food industry.* Experience of breakdowns and preventative maintenance.* Ideally knowledge of Ilapak, Loma, Multivak, Weber, Markem printers, Soco machines, bowl choppers.* Facilities management experience.* Ability to work alone and also within small teams.* Proactive, confident, and well communicated.Rewards* This is a company who have gone from strength to strength, even during the pandemic - so the security and potential future growth and development is there.* Regular reviews and future promotions for those who demonstrate the companys values.* Overtime available.* Working solo; giving the chance to take ownership and develop both personable and professional skills.* Various workload with an experienced and long-standing team, but a newly appointed Manager with fresh ideas and a desire to grow the business.This is an incredible opportunity for anyone looking to develop their career in Engineering.
