A fantastic opportunity for an experienced, smart, and ambitious .Net Web Developer to join a leading and award-winning web design agency with over 20 years experience in the sector. The Senior .Net Web Developer will be responsible for serving in a hybridrole as both a Senior Developer and a Tech Lead on new an exciting projects. The Senior Web Developer will be coding day-to-day, helping to build exceptional end products including CMS websites, e-commerce platforms, online portals, and software applications,whilst also helping to guide the delivery of projects from the technical perspective by gathering requirements, writing specs, and supporting junior developers.Hours of work: 9am - 5pmThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience in commercial web development, ideally in a Senior Developer role with a thorough and meticulous approach and an ability to communicate ideas to a non-technical audience. The candidate willalso demonstrate for a passion for tech, combined with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. A degree is not essential, but would need to be substituted for 6+ years experience, and some formal computing qualification is preferred. Help to architect new web and software solutions. Delegate requirements to the development team by communicating concise instructions and providing ongoing support. Manage build management and infrastructure setup. Review development, implementation, and testing to ensure quality is achieved. Liaise with the Creative Team regarding design concepts and sign off from a technical point of view. Gather clients specific requirements (via calls and meetings), guiding RE the best approach from a technical perspective, and creating timescales for new projects. Write detailed technical specifications. Nurture junior developers by encouraging their personal and professional development. Ensure procedures and company standards are adhered to by the development team. You will get the opportunity to do back-end development on some of your projects.Essential Experience At least 4 years commercial web development experience (ideally in a similar Senior Developer role). Degree in a Computing discipline (or 6 years experience as a substitute, with some formal qualification preferred) Experience of build/project management. Experience nurturing junior developers.
