Senior DeveloperCrewe based company / hybrid£45k - £60kWorking as part of a small internal team consisting of an IT Head, a Senior Mobile App Developer, a Junior Mobile App Developer, a Product Lead and a Data Manager. You will build out a front and back-end infrastructure utilising SQL and Kubernetes to delivera brand-new mobile only application specific to the business travel management sector and provide support and development in line with current and future product design.The main purpose of the role -- Oversee the design of API integration, and be the Technical point of contact for suppliers regarding APls- Assist the Head of IT and Product Owner to ensure business data is protected from external threat and unauthorised distribution- Architect infrastructure around automating deploying, scaling, and management of containerized applications- Design and develop the Kubernetes environment that aligns with the current and future product changes on the mobile app as well as data importing- Create Docker images for continuous deployments- Maintain a SQL Server, upgrading databases and queries as needed.- Implement integration with customer identity platforms such as AuthO or OktaDesirable skills -- Good at writing clean, modular, readable, and testable code- Strong knowledge of REST API principles and best practices.- Proficiency with Node.js, T-SQL and Azure.- Hands-on experience with GraphQL (preferably Apollo) and knowledge of REST APIs.- Implement integration with customer identity platforms such as AuthO or Okta.- Maintain a SQL Server, upgrading databases and queries as needed.- Management of Azure DevOps, including CI/CD functions and Kubernetes. Experience building Microservices- Strong problem-solving skills. Awareness of Power BI.
