The ideal person will be someone who shares Securitas Values, who is passionate and enthusiastic to help deliver a first-class service.Predominately, you will be working at one of our clients sites, reporting to the site supervisor, with the expectation to occasionally attend their sister site - just two miles away - as and when required, expenses will be paid.The average working week will be 42 hours, rotating 4 on, 4 off nights/Days (including weekends and bank holidays). There will be opportunities for overtime.How you will make an impact as a Securitas Security Officer:
  • Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV.
  • Patrolling.
  • Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the premises.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Display an outstanding level of customer service.
  • Bi-weekly fire & In evacuations
  • Weekly search training
  • Gatehouse duties
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by Management.
Essential Skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • SIA Licence (preferably)
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
Useful for you to know:Successful applicants will be vetted in line with the industry standard BS7858. A Five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment or full and part-time education during thatperiod will be required along with a postal document as proof of address and an additional personal identification document. Desirable Skills Even better if, you have a full UK driving licence and hold a CCTV Licence. About Company Our promise to you:
