Job Description

A great opportunity to join a growing business in the Crewe area as a Quality Control Specialist. This will be a full time permanent position and will pay c£45,000 plus benefits which include some remote working.Client DetailsA family run manufacturing business that have recently moved in to a new facility in Crewe.DescriptionThe Quality Control Specialist is a brand new position into the business and so will work closely with the current team to deliver "first in class" quality processes and procedures. This will include gaining the IATF 16949 accreditation - which you willdo from scratch. You will also maintain the current accreditations and develop the management systems as well as working closely with suppliers and customers on all things quality.Basically this role is a blank sheet of paper for you to be as creative as you like and get involved at ground level to help grow the business enabling quality and safety to be at the heart of everything they do!ProfileThe successful Quality Control Specialist will have:

  • previously worked in Quality Control within manufacturing - ESSENTIAL
  • worked in the Automotive and/or Aerospace industry - ESSENTIAL
  • implemented processes to gain accreditation - ESSENTIAL
  • working knowledge and understanding of IATF 16949 - ESSENTIAL
  • strong written and verbal communication skills - ESSENTIAL
