Job Description

HLTAS WE NEED YOU!Reed Education are looking for a qualified HLTA to work within a number of Primary Schools based in Nantwich and surrounding areas who are looking for support in their Schools from September.Reed Education would like someone who wants to be fully involved within each school and is happy to commit to bother shorter term and longer term assignments.Supply work is a great opportunity for you to build new relationships, build upon your confidence and to add to your working experience.We are able to arrange teaching placements for you within the locations which are ideal to you - local work!HLTA Main Duties: To plan and prepare lessons with teachers, participating in all stages of the planning cycle, including in evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans Developing and preparing resources for learning activities in accordance with lesson plans and in response to pupil needs Motivate and progress pupils learning by using clearly structures and interesting teaching learning activities Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific learning needs both in learning activities and within the classroom Support the teaching of the National Curriculum, be familiar with lesson plans, IEP targets and learning objectives. Use behaviour management strategies in line with the school policy and procedures Evaluate pupil progress through a range of assessment activities Support the teaching staff with reporting pupils progress and achievements Manage other teaching assistants and mentor where needed Contribute to the overall ethos of the school, work, aims, development and staff meetingsWe look for outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistants who are able to represent a quality agency dedicated to your needs.
