Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a People ER & Policy Partner to join their team based in Crewe. They are the UK’s largest off licence operator with a growing convenience offer under their fascias across over 800 stores.Joining our client’s People Team, the People ER & Policy Partner will be responsible for the provision of commercially astute Employee Relations and Policy advice over the telephone and face to face, whilst supporting and coaching line managers on all aspects of the employee life cycle. You will also get the opportunity to get involved in wider People Team activities and projects as part of our client’s overarching People Strategy and Plans.Day to day, the People ER & Policy Partner will be working closely with the People Services Team and People Business Partners as well as supporting colleagues, managers and franchisees.What our client is looking for in their People ER & Policy Partner:- A proactive, can-do person, with the ability to instil a positive, team working culture- Excellentattention to detail, good written and verbal communication skills- Comfortable working at pace in an agile environment and will be tenacious and versatile in your approach to work- CIPD Level 5 as a minimum, working towards or qualified through equivalent experience in a similar type role- Someone who thrives in an environment of teamwork, agility and customer excellence and be keen to support and develop others as well as yourself- Experience of working within a commercial and cost-conscious multi-site Retail company or similar type organisation, ideally in a unionised environment- A confident and proficient ER & Policy adviser, used to managing a high volume ER caseload within set SLA’s and KPI’s in an HR shared service function- Experience of taking ownership for producing legally compliant correspondence (i.e. investigation reports and outcome letters)- The ability to build effective working relationships with your customers, colleagues and stakeholders- Experience of writing, maintaining, updating and implementing effective people policies, processes and procedures and continuously improving these- Strong experience of providing accurate and insightful people information and metrics, often from basic, raw data, from multiple sources into robust reporting and data analytics- A confident facilitator able to support with training and development interventions in areas such as people management skills training- The ability to coach and support wider team members with their developmentIn return, you will receive a competitive salary and will enjoy access to our client’s cashback healthcare scheme and company pension scheme.If you think you have what it takes to become our client’s People ER & Policy Partner, then they want to hear from you!No agencies please.
