Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager based at their Head Office at Crewe to lead the Payroll Team for a 6 month temporary period. In return, you will receive a competitive salary plus great benefits.Our client is part a multi-billion privately owned organisation with diverse businesses operating across the retail, pharmacy, banking and cement sectors!Their Retail business is headquartered from Crewe, Cheshire, and is the UK’s largest off licence operator with a growing convenience offer under fascias of Bargain Booze, Wine Rack, Select Convenience and Central Convenience – all with over 600 stores nationally; some of which are company owned and operated and others which are franchised!The Payroll Managerrole:This is a critical role within the Finance Team, taking the lead in delivering a high standard payroll service to People and a high volume of franchisees and ensuring all statutory payroll and pension reporting is completed accurately and on time.Leading a small Payroll Team, as a Payroll Manager you will manage multiple weekly and monthly payrolls both in-house and as an outsourced service for circa 250 franchisees so the ability to coordinate your team and ensure this is done to a high standard every time is key.The ideal Payroll Manager will have the below skills and experience:Ideally, you will have a strong background in Payroll Management within a fast paced, high volume environment and will now be looking for an opportunity to develop your career in a business that is growing every day.You will be highly skilled leading a team and in all payroll and pension processing, particularly auto enrolment, being able to demonstrate a proven track record of ensuring attention to detail and delivering a high standard of accuracy within tight timescales.You will be adaptable to the needs of a fast growing business whilst maintaining professionalism and work well in a team.
