Job Description

Junior Systems AnalystI am currently looking for a Junior Systems Analyst who has some previous experience working within a DevOps environment and is on the look out for their next position. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to further their career in the DevOps space and is looking to get some serious commercial experience under their belt within an established and succesful company.Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally candidates will be educated to degree level in Computer science or Information Technology (Strong A-Level candidates will still be considered)
  • Circa 1 years + experience in a similar role, having gained exposure in a professional environment to some of the following technologies:
  • VMware
  • Microsoft Server (essential)
  • SUSE Linux
  • Microsoft SQL administration
  • Active Directory, DHCP, GPO, DNS
  • Powershell
  • Visual studio
  • AWS / Azure Cloud
  • Microsoft System Center
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Pro-active can-do attitude with excellent problem solving capabilities
  • Excellent time keeping and prioritisation skills, to ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build a good rapport with colleagues
  • Commitment to continuous personal development
  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and use own initiative.
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously but refer to the Manager where required or appropriate.
