Due to continued growth and success my client is looking to grow the JavaScript Development Team.My client offers the opportunity to work with a Innovative, technology driven company who are a market leader in their field.What will you be doing as a JavaScript Developer•Developing new user-facing features using React.js•Unit testing using enzyme and Jest•Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use•Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code•Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsersSkills and Experience Required.•Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model•Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles•Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)•Strong knowledge of CSS and common frameworks•Good knowledge and experience of using Node.js•Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript•Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)•Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus•Familiarity with RESTful APIs•Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token•Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools•Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.•Agile squad experience: scrum, cross functional teams and CI/CD•A knack for benchmarking and optimization•Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git/Gitlab)Nice to Have Skills:• Python / Java skills•Selenium / SoapUI and other test automation tools•Android / IOS app experience•AWS (SaaS and web app hosting)If you would like a confidential chat please contact Julie Bestwick at OCC Computing
