Job Description

Internal Sales - Natural StoneJob Title: Internal Sales - Natural StoneIndustry Sector: Roofing, Roofing Tiles, Roofing Slates, Natural Stone, End Users, Contractors, Builders Merchants, Architects, SpecifiersBased: CreweRemuneration: £22,000 - £26,000Benefits: Comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Internal Sales - Natural Stone will involve:

  • Internal sales role, selling a comprehensive range of natural stone, natural slate, Z stone, clay roof tiles and roofing accessories
  • Predominantly will be selling to merchants, specifiers, architects, end users and subcontractors
  • Will be supporting the Sales Manager with general sales admin tasks
  • Processing orders
  • Raising quotations and following up on quotations
  • Dealing with stock control
  • Answering inbound calls and dealing with any queries
  • Will be expected to carry out other jobs that may need doing to help out the team
  • Upselling and cross selling products where possible
  • Providing excellent customer service to existing customer base
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales - Natural Stone with:
  • Must have sales experience within the construction industry, ideally selling natural stone, natural slate, z stone, clay roof tiles and roofing accessories
  • Ideally the successful candidate will have experience selling to merchants, contractors specifiers
  • Must be good on the phone
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive can-do attitude, responsible and punctual
  • Enthusiastic, driven, ambitious
