Resourcing4HR are delighted to be working with a national multisite Retail business to recruit an HR Business Partner supporting the Retail Leadership team and Logistics functions. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for their next step intoa Business Partnering role with lots of autonomy, involvement in major HR projects and all aspects of HR.Reporting to the Head of HR - Retail, you will be supporting the delivery of an operational and strategic HR service, working directly with Senior Retail Managers, Head Office Management teams and other internal and external stakeholders across a range ofHR activity including: Contributing to the updating and maintenance of HR strategies, and play a leading role within the team to provide support to the Head of People Services in continuously improving the delivery of HR. Providing effective and proactive support for major HR projects. Take a lead role in the innovation of HR practice, policies, procedures and management toolkits / guidance, carrying out effective horizon scanning to identify future developments. Working consultatively and in partnership with key stakeholders across the Retail Leadership Team, the role will deliver a value-added service that reflects the critical business objectives of the organisation.Key Skills and Knowledge required:Retail experience is highly desirable.Detailed knowledge and experience of advising directly on a range of HR, Management and Employee Relations issues within a complex organisation.Experience of supporting line managers to continuously improve employee performance and to effectively manage organisational change.Skilled in the provision of coaching, guidance and advice to Line Managers, drawing appropriately on best practice and relevant theories to improve standards of people management.Awareness of the importance of employee engagement and wellbeing to support employee performance and the ability to put this into practice.Strong influencing style articulate and confident, comfortable in liaising with senior level stakeholders.Ability to think and act strategically whilst maintaining a pragmatic perspective.Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport when meeting new people and adapt your style to suit the situation.*This role can be based in either Yorkshire or Cheshire, with some travel required.
