Job Description

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, agile and forward thinking CIPD qualified and highly experienced People Business Partner to join our Team, reporting to the People Director. Your role will be hugely varied, working in collaboration with the wider People Team, in providing end to end HR support and guidance to their business leaders and franchise partners through agility, passion, customer focus and strong team work. You will join theirvteam on a full time, permanent basis and in return will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.What you will be doing as their HR Business Partner:- Collaborating positively with team colleagues and the People Director, as a member of the People Leadership Team (PLT), to support the development and delivery of the overall people strategy and plans.- Coaching, influencing and contributing HR expertise as a key business partner to our senior leaders to support the development and delivery of their functional people plans and business objectives, in alignment with our overarching people strategy and plan.- Ensuring robust talent acquisition, retention, development and succession planning frameworks are in place and pro-actively supported.- Driving improved employee engagement through developing, delivering and interpreting colleague surveys, engagement action plans and building the employee value proposition.- Build management capability in all people related matters, using a variety of techniques such as coaching, training etc. and supporting the acquisition and development of early careers and other key talent.- Successfully leading and supporting key people or business projects against defined budget, timescales and key deliverables.- Proactively analysing and utilising people data and insight to make business recommendations and develop and deliver innovative and appropriate solutions.- Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership, keeping abreast of legislation, industry trends and best practice.- Drive continuous improvement and service excellence, exploiting opportunities and driving change initiatives for business area and collectively as a member of PLT.The idealHR Business Partner will have the below skills and experience:- Full generalist exposure and experience as a People Business Partner, to multiple senior stakeholders, leading, developing and delivering a wide range of People activities, projects and transformation programmes.- Expertise in supporting and developing talent acquisition, retention, development and succession plans as well as people management skills to enhance capability.- Used to operating in a complex and fast paced change oriented multi-site operations environment at scale; ideally retail or similar. Franchised experience desirable.- Degree educated or equivalent. Fully CIPD qualified.- Exceptional employment legislation, people policy & process and governance expertise – able to support on complex and high risk cases as required.- Strong leadership, coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills – highly service and delivery focussed.- Agile, creative and accountable ‘thinker’ and ‘doer’ with a ‘can do’ approach – operating always with the customer and team fully in mind and the end clearly in sight.- Excellent technology and data analysis skills.
