Job Description

Human Resources Administrator

  • Reports to: Head of HR
  • Location: Crewe
  • Salary: £23,000-£25,500
  • Type: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Crewe.Main Duties
  • To provide advice and support to staff and line managers on a range of Organisational Development and HR matters including recruitment, absence management, learning and development, employee relations, performance management and conditions of employment;
  • To be the HR lead on cross College learning and development activity and maintain up to date and accurate CPD records;
  • Produce data, reports and statistical analysis using the HR system that are relevant to College requirements; and
  • To provide advice and guidance to ensure all College safeguarding obligations are adhered to at all times.
Role Purpose
  • Meet the needs of learners, employers and other stakeholders;
  • Is of the highest possible quality in terms of learner outcomes and learner satisfaction;
  • Is effective, efficient and provides excellent value for money;
  • Reflects the vision, mission, aims and values of the College;
  • Is innovative, developmental and sector leading; and
  • Promotes a culture of excellence and equality.
  • Carry out duties as a First Aider as and when required
Requirements
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths;
  • Excellent level of digital literacy;
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
  • Up-to-date occupational experience; and
  • Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
